It is the richest city in Britain for archaeological and architectural treasures preserved to this day from the time of the Roman. The city's main industries are retail, tourism and financial services. Chester's main employer is Bank of America. Today it is a major tourist attraction and shopping location. It also happens to be one of the Best World Cities .
